We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful time. The place is so peaceful with a lovely spacious bedroom and a beautiful lounge too. The breakfast features local produce (own eggs and fruit, local bacon and sausages). They catered for my gluten free diet at breakfast and with our evening platter with style and ease so unlike other places we've been (and even got in some gluten free cakes for tea). The attention to detail, lovely location and warm welcome make this one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in. Looking forward to returning!.   (Tripadvisor member, 27/08/09) 

"Completely lovely. We were only staying one night, unfortunately, but it was the most perfect stay. Incredibly relaxing and peaceful, tucked away in a little lane in the counntry. Sarah is such a lovely host, the gardens beautiful, the evening ploughmans platter a delicious feast, by the fire in an inspiring lounge full of interesting books. The rooms were so comfortable, coffee left outside our doors to wake us up, and a wonderful breakfast overflowing with local produce. So much attention to detail without being too much. "The picture don't do it justice. The Hen House was an absolute gem of a place, nestled amongst wild strawberry plants and rambling roses, the ideal getaway. Sarah and Willy Wint are perfect hosts, sharing their garden goodies, local knowledge and good humour readily. Berrington is in an excellent spot of England allowing for easy exploration of many beautiful market towns, pubs, castles and lots of lovely countryside. We had a wonderfully relaxing time in this gorgeous barn, using the excellent facilities such as WiFi, dvds, instant hot water and chintzy china.
