Gardens

We always recommend a visit to Stockton Bury Gardens which is just a 10 minute drive away.  The most perfect and fabulous garden is complemented by a small restaurant serving delicious lunches and teas.

Just around the corner is Burford House which has the National Clematis Collection in its lovely gardens, a garden centre and cafe and a reclamation yard.

Nearby are the two National Trust properties of Berrington Hall and Croft Castle - both with gardens

There are many other lovely gardens nearby - as well as our own chaotic patch!

Antiques 

Both Ludlow and Leominster have a good range of antique shops.  Ludlow has more of the fine antique shops and Leominster has lots of less expensive antique/secondhand shops and a great reclamation yard.

My favourites are The Blue Room in Leominster and Zani Emporium in Ludlow for irresistibly lovely things!  Have lunch at Savorys in Leominster and The Mill by the weir in Ludlow.

A bit further afield Ledbury is a nice town too with antique and interior shops and nice places for lunch.
