The Hen House is available for self-catering breaks. All you need for your first breakfast (and probably your second!) is provided in your welcome hamper. You will probably buy yourself something delicious from a local producer for dinner and help yourself to seasonal vegetables or salads from our kitchen garden. A three course meal for two can be arranged for you on your night of arrival. (Add £35)
The Hen House has a lovely bedroom, a bathroom with bath and shower, and a long open plan sitting room/kitchen. There are walks around our garden, fields and woods straight from the door. We have two dogs, two donkeys, three sheep and a multitude of cats, so cat friendly and well-behaved dogs are also welcome. They must be fully housetrained.
As an extra treat you can also book yourselves a relaxing aromatherapy massage or a pampering manicure or pedicure. The Hen House is non smoking, but there are plenty of places in the garden to sit and have a cigarette.
Linen and towels are provided. For those with wifi enabled laptops, Brook Farm has a 2MB wireless broadband network, with scanner, photocopying and printer which can be made available. A token contribution will be requested for heavy use. There is FreeviewTV, and SkyTV is piped from the main house, so we can organise Sky Sports and Box Office films on request, at cost price. A nice little place in the country
